28 Sep Google Ads Introduces Monthly Campaign Budgets
How will this change budget management?
With a monthly budget, you set how much you want your campaign to spend over the course of a month. Your actual spend may vary each day, but by the end of the month, you won’t pay more than the monthly budget you set for the campaign. You’ll see higher spend on days your ads are likely to see more traffic, balanced by lower spend on other days—but in a month, you won’t pay more than the monthly budget.
This change will allow marketers the freedom of “setting and forgetting” their budgets instead of having to watch them too closely. My recommendation though is to keep a watchful eye on your campaigns, as the need for maintenance and optimizations will always exist.
When to pick this option:
If your business conducts monthly financial planning, or otherwise needs to be guaranteed, accurate monthly spend, monthly campaign budgets are the better option. You’ll be able to directly set how much you want your campaign to spend in a month.
