Homes By Avalon provides both real estate and leasing services. Their challenge was the functionality that their previous website provided. We partnered to tackle the challenge and create a website that served the needs of both tenants and home buyers.
Considerations
The website for Homes By Avalon had to serve both tenets (new and current) while also being a place where new buyers could shop for their new homes.
Action
First, we addressed the requirement to cater to two audiences with a single homepage that allowed users to self-identify as either Renters or Buyers. From that point, we created dual experiences for each audience via a single website. Then we created a space for both user types. On the tenet side, we provided users the opportunity to pay rent and apply for a leasing application. Buyers visiting the site were able to discover available properties and contact listing agents.
Results
The result of this website design is a long-standing website that allowed Homes By Avalon to manually update listings and a place for renters to complete applications and pay their rent. Homes By Avalon has since seen an increase in conversions of home sales!
